Alright so, I’m gay and in the closet. My friend seems to think that being gay is totally a choice. From my personal experiences, it’s most definitely NOT a choice, but I can’t tell him that because I’m in the closet, so I’ve just been arguing that many many American Medical Associations say its not a choice, and that it can’t be “fixed” by religious practices. Even with all the evidence, he still won’t listen to me. He says that he wants a real gay person to answer him personally. So here I am. Could a couple of you tell me your personal experiences on the matter? Was it a choice for you? Or did you just grow that way? Thanks to all for reading.
