I’m a 14 year old boy, who’s gay. I want to tell my parents I’m gay , but I don’t know how to tell them. I have a strict family that doesn’t like gays. My family always talks about how they don’t like homosexuals. My dad is a deacon, but he’s very peaceful. How do I explain to my parents that I’m gay.

First, you are under no pressure to come out to anybody if you feel that it would be harmful to you in any way. Although, I don't think it really comes as a surprise to many parents, you may just want to wait until you are not relying on their financial support.
