I apologize in advanced for this lengthy question that requires some background information. I don’t know what to identify as. As much as I hate labels, I need one. I know what I feel, but at times it is difficult to articulate. I want to come out, but I don’t even know what to come out as. That and I also just want to be part of a community of people who understand and can accept me but I can’t do that if I don’t know what the words for what I am are. I was born a female. There are days where I love my body; my long hair, my breasts, wearing feminine clothing. There are days where I love being a girl, and feel like a girl. And then there are other days where I wake up and I don’t feel like a woman. I want to cut off all my hair, tape down my chest, wear mens clothing and bemoan the fact that my eyebrows have such a feminine arch. I hate my female body then because on those days I feel like a man. This has been happening since I was thirteen. I am now 20. Sometimes I identify as a man, and sometimes I identify as a woman. I’ve heard the terms transgender and transitioning but it didn’t seem to fit because some days I LOVE being a woman. I feel like both a woman and a man so taking testosterone and getting top surgery…just never appealed to me. I have no idea what to identify as gender wise and because of this I don’t know how to label my sexuality. I am attracted to both males and females; but I tend to be more attracted to males as a whole and females are kind of on an individual basis.  So I guess my question is…based off of this information, what would be the correct term for me to use in regards to identifying my gender and my sexuality?
