I’m a 20 year old gay male live in a pretty small town and all my friends are straight, a lot of them are couples as well, and it’s starting to get me down, my friends have never had a problem with me being gay which I’m grateful for. But they’re never up for going to gay bars and clubs or anything different (or they say they are and let you down at the last minute), they’re quite happy to go to the same places every weekend, and I just feel like I’m never going to meet anyone new for friendships or relationships and I’m just starting to feel a bit isolated and frustrated. I’ve been on dating sites but they’ve not done much good, and I just feel like until I move out of my parents house (which should be next year) there’s nothing I can do, any advice from anyone would be great 🙂
