This is about one of my gay male friends.  We have been friends for 18 years.  I am female.  And we are both the same age, 55.  K  has a host of issues and is not out in public.  Also  he hasn’t had sex since the late 1980’s until last year.  K lived with my husband and I for 12 years and bought a house last Sept.  Oh and all the years I’ve known him believe me I tried in vain to get him to date or even just go buy sex!  But he would get mad and say no.  (we live in New Orleans). Now the issue.  I have known for some time that K is a boy/twink lover.  I know he looks at child porn.  He is on all the gay dating sites.  Ex. boyahoy, grindr etc.  He has gone crazy since leaving here.  His whole life is about finding an 18 year old.  But yesterday he tells me that he “doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with talking to 15 year olds”.  And he IS talking/sexting someone who looks 15.  He showed me the pic. Since he moved away from us I have distanced myself from him.  Where we used to talk in the past every day I hardly hear from him.  I suspect the worse.  My other gay male and female friends think he’s a pedophile and want me to end this friendship now.   They think he will be arrested and want me out of it.  We met for dinner last night and when he told me of the above “15 year old comment” I walked out.  Your opinion?
