I was a little late to the party ;) I was a bit naive to say the least. When I was growing up it wasn't like it is today where you have women from all walks of life that are out. The few women I knew that were lesbians were very butch women - women that I didn't identify with - so to me the thought of being gay didn't cross my mind. Even when I had a major crush on my best friend in college, I still didn't think that I could be gay. Maybe if something would have happened between us the light bulb would have went off sooner. But for me It wasn't until I met my first girlfriend at age 30 that I for sure knew I could be attracted to the same sex seriously.
