Gay Question and Answer Archive

This is really a two part question.  1) I am a 15 year old gay teen and am  not sure if I am gay or bisexual. I have known that I’ve been gay since 11 but its probably been for a lot longer. I’ve recently had urges towards woman. Not really sexual attraction but more I don’t know “aesthetic” attraction but not sexual. Am I gay or bisexual?  2) Simply put, like anybody my age, I wanna have sex. A lot of my friends have had sex and I want in. lol. When my previous and only boyfriend to date (year younger) put sex on the table I chickened out. I probably wasn’t ready but even though I didn’t like him that much (isn’t peer pressure a b**ch) I still think that I should have done it. I want a relationship with a boy my age but I simply can’t find anyone that I like in my town. Is the internet the right way to go, should I ‘settle’ or should I hold out.  If you could help me with my questions it would be much appreciated.

I’m 16 and my own philosophy for finding relationships both gay and straight (I’m bi) is to let them just show up. You know, the typical movie scene where the two are talking to each other and then there is a smile, and a returned smile, and a blush or two, and then love is found. However, since gays are much less common it seems tempting to want to seek out relationships. I do not recommend it because the others on the web are also looking for sex which isn’t very fulfilling. Also, I’m a virgin (in both sexual orientations) so do not be ashamed that you are as well. You and I are both horny teens who want the sex but it must not control you or you will find yourself in a depressingly quick-ending relationship. Stay strong and let that special moment come to you when it holds the most magic. Find love, not sex.
