I hate anal sex, but I am most definitely gay. I am fifty years old. I spent the first part of my life letting heterosexual people tell me how to have sex, the next part letting homosexual people tell me. Now I just want to do it my way. Am I just going to have to go solo?

First of all you don't have to have anal sex if you don't want to. You can and will find someone who will allow you to be you and who is ok with just that. A partner should understand and be willing to compromise with you and all that you like and don't like. Being 50 has nothing to do with it. Your picking the wrong ones or you would have been having excellent sex along time ago. Let them know up front what you like and don't like and tell them you have boundaries and that's it. Don't waste your time on changing for someone else, if they cant change for you. No more anal sex!!
