I’m 16 years old and, although I have never kissed a guy, I am gay. I really like this kid at school who is my age as well but I don’t know if he is gay or straight? please help as I really want to go out with him and he has pretended to be gay towards me but I couldn’t know for sure. The high school I come from, the teachers are supportive but the students are the idiots and the ones who should drop out. We only started to talk from year 8 but we are in year 11, I need some help

It’s great that you have supportive teachers. If there is a gay straight alliance, you might want to check it out, or find some straight friends and start one. Anyway, If he’s pretending to be gay around you, and you feel comfortable enough to talk to him, then do so. I’ts hard being a teenager and dating, but it will get better with time. If you want to talk to him to find out what he’s about, then start off being friends to see if you want pursue a relationship with him. Find commonality, like school to get to know him. Keep studying!
