So I made a new friend on grindr, and I tried to make it amply clear that I want to make a real connection with someone. It seemed like he was genuinely interested in what I had to say when we hung out in person. But he also really didn’t want to let his roommates to see me… even though he’s out. and when we text, I write full sentences and he always responds with a few word responses.  I asked him “Did you go to the festival or was it cancelled” and he replied “no.” ……. What does that mean?!?!?!  The last text i sent him was asking if he was interested in making a closer connection or just wanted to mess around with someone, and he said that he wasn’t interested in dating, but he was cool being close. Then when I asked when he wanted to chill, or if he just wanted to play it by ear, and he didn’t respond back… I’m so confused!!!! I’m getting mixed messages. Why did he seem so interested in talking with me, and why is he saying he’s ok with making a closer connection if he’s sending me vague responses, and tries to hide me from his roommates?
