After my boyfriend and I had sex, in a very stereotypical way, he wanted to get up and do something and I wanted to cuddle. (I’m a woman.) Since this is such a common scenario, we started wondering what happened with gay couples. Was it easier for them because both men would want to get up and do something, or roll over and sleep, while the women would both want to cuddle? Or is this really overgeneralizing, with much more variation due to individual people than to sexual orientation?

I think it depends on the individuals. I know gay couples who are very affectionate with each other.
