Ok I need some help. I am a gay 15 year old boy from Australia and from a rural town of about 9000 and a want to come out. Thing is right now two girls (possibly three) like me and want to go out with me but I want to come out. There isn’t really a question here I just need some advice on what I should do to come out and to not hurt the girls’, who are also my friends, feelings in the process.

Ok listen there will always be girls who like you and wish you were not gay. That is how it goes in the straight world. Always wanting something they can't have. The most important question instead of the girls feeling is....ARE YOU SURE YOUR GAY? How do you know for sure that this is your truth? And do you have any feelings at all for these girls? If they are true friends they will continue to like you and respect who you are no matter what. And even if you were not gay and choose not to date neither one of them, Would they turn their backs on you? Would that hurt their feeling? Think about the questions I asked up top and if your answers are strong and your truth, then COME ON OUT! Love who you are and represent our wonderful GAY NATION!!!!

Honesty is always the best policy. If you are genuine and show grace there shouldn't be a problem.

Great question. So smart and sensitive. Good for you. Since the gals are your friends be kind and honest. Tell them one on one and be honest and respect her feelings. She will appreciate your honesty and you may be able to be life long friends with this honesty base. Good luck and congrats!
