I concur with Val and Garrett. It's not when you decide to be gay, it's when you realize you are and have the courage to be yourself. Some people realize early on that they are gay and some realize later in life. For me I was slow to come to the realization. I didn't have my first girl crush until I was twenty and it wasn't until I was thirty that I fell in love with a woman and allowed myself to follow my heart and be happy.
