I am working within my development psychology class and need to ask one question to homosexual that would be beneficial for my understanding of loving the same sex. So I was wondering what would be one question that would help others understand homosexuality better?

Do straight people get up in the morning and decide that they are going to be straight? In other words , being LGBT is as inherent to the LGBT person as identifying as straight is to a straight person. It is an orientation that neither party makes a conscious decision about. It is just who they are. Hope that helps.
