Well I came out about 2 years ago and everything has been going good but one problem. My Aunt knows I am Bisexual and proud but she thinks it’s a phase and she doesn’t realize it but every time she makes a remark about me turning straight one day really offends me and hurts me. How should I tell her how I feel?

When you are put in situation where someone is not validating who you are as a person, the only way to stop their behavior is to be straightforward with them. Family members can be especially insensitive when a person comes out, and they should not be given a free pass when they invalidate who you are as a person. Rather, they should be told, politely, that you would appreciate their support, so that you can continue to have a good relationship with them.
