General Question and Answer Archive

Ok, would you be considered gay or homosexual if you think about homosexuality when you are under a lot of stress? I’ll give an example like since I was raped at the age of ten years of age my trust in authority figures has naturally gone out of the window. So, I started secretly wearing woman’s clothes and thinking of what it wold be like to service a bear of a man and be a twink. Well, I have gone to homosexual websites like for six months on forums, chat rooms, an etc as well on this issue. I’ve done Quiz Farm quizzes and most indicators say either I’m bi-curious 10% or 90% that I’m gay. I’m just wondering how accurate are multiple sex quizzes in determining your sexual orientation? I mean most are like stereotyping like if you see an insect do you jump or whatever. Another common thing is about fashion or the cleaning habits of homosexuals. There are certain words that some uses well. I’m attracted to both men and women in the physical and women on both physical and emotional cause I’ve never opened up to a guy like that cause most are jerks. Perhaps I don’t know what it would be like to be a submissive transvestite or whatever. Thanks for your opinion of this matter. By the way, I’m in a committed heterosexual relationship with my gf for three years. Every time we’ve been drinking alcohol I admit that I’m gay. My counselor thinks that drinking alcohol brings out inhibition is that true and in my case to what extent would they play a role? notes: I shave my legs, armpits, pubic hairs and sometimes still dress like a girly girl!

I wouldn't try and self diagnose or label yourself by taking quizzes on the internet. Most things on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt. Heavy introspection and following your moral compass is always a good plan to follow, along with talking to a licensed professional who understands your needs, if you feel that would help. I wouldn't put much stock into generalizing about people either, as there are plenty of people who wouldn't fit the stereotype.
