What exactly does it mean when a gay man wears two earrings? I learned that it meant he goes both ways. I have met this incredible young gay man, and he wears two earring, and I am hoping I am right 🙂

More and more men, both straight and gay wear earrings, and on either one or both ears, as a fashion statement. So, to be sure, I would just ask him.

I agree with Val, there is no guarantee anymore. I have a gay friend who wears earrings in both ears and he definitely does not go both ways.
