What are gay dating rituals?  Are they any different than straight courtship? does it feel right? did your friends change? why do some take a long time before admitting that they are gay? Is being gay part of genetics or is it your chose? Explain your answer.

Dating in the gay community is exactly the same as it is in the straight community. We really are the same, except our orientation or our gender may be different. Yes, it feels as right as breathing. You don’t think about it, it is just you. Your friends don’t change unless they are a bigoted a–, then maybe, yes. People come out at different stages in their life because historically, there is a lot of discrimination against gays. There is real physical violence, financial implications, and bias against lgbtq’s. But, gay people are born gay. It’s just when they come out. More kids are coming out ever than before, and we need to support them and have resources available so that they can thrive in their development. Being gay is not a choice.
