Okay, so here’s my story… I’m 13 and a lesbian and I’ve know for a while now. Basically tons of my friends know (my parents don’t)… but anyway I keep getting crushes on my straight friends, and as soon as one crush ends, another starts… it’s really hard and it makes me feel so sad, and there’s tons of people at school that have boyfriends and it makes me feel so bad because I just want someone I can like that will like me back u know? And I’m sick of waiting and getting my heart broken.

Thanks for the question. If you keep getting crushes on straight people, then you will keep getting your heart broken. There may not be as many out people at your school, but they are definately there.
